UCET Trip Advisor 18th December 2025: Ogof Nadolig Santa special
Hi all,
As per UCET tradition, the last Thursday night trip of 2025 will be our annual Ogof Nadolig (Christmas cave) Santa special trip. You MUST be wearing a Santa suit!
Suitable for novices with some experience and a good Christmas spirit
Ogof Nadolig involves some tight sections. Entry is via a 10 foot maypole ladder, there is a flat out crawl of around 30 feet and a rope assisted descent down a pot of, around 15 feet at 45 degrees then 10 feet vertical. This is usually done with a "flying angel" but you can clip on with "down gear" if you want.
This trip is also open to non-members!
Location : Ogof Nadolig
Meet Place : Cilcain Bridge
Meet Date : Thursday 18th December 2025
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, (harness/tails optional) – Santa Costume MANDATORY

Josh and I will come for this - I'll bring the landy so can seat 9 people total (me&josh + 7more) which should help with shuttle to nadolig/parking. Dirty kit not a problem!
