Hi all,

Next week's trip is to Maeshafn mine. This is a lead mine worked in the 1800s. Will involve squeezes, climbing, and PLENTY of mud and clay.

Suitable for newer cavers with some experience

What time did you make it to the Druid?  I ended up in the Blue Bell as I couldn't be arsed traipsing two miles through muddy fields in the dark!

For Those coming tonight please be aware there is a yellow weather warning for snow and ice in the area.

It maybe slippy and more difficult to access the mine.

If you're still intending on coming please wear appropriate clothing for a 45 minute walk in the snow.

That's not even the most we've had on a Belgrave trip. I remember having about that many in the back of your van for the drive up.
