Good Morning

Sorry for the late post for this weeks trip, we were trying to sort out a trip somewhere a little different, but that fell through for this week. So here's this weeks trip


TRIP #1

Spar mine for some SRT & Electron Ladder goodness. We will be rigging the mine for some "in situ" SRT practice for those who feel they might benefit. It's also a great time for those with more experience to dangle around and bristle with excitement. Mick will also be showing us some SRT rescue techniques. Only Suitable for SRT competent people.

TRIP #2
Spar Mine adventure. For those not wishing to take on the SRT practice, there will be an opportunity to wander around the mine seeking treasure, goblins, and fun times. Suitable for Novices.

Location : Spar Mine
Meet Place : Car Park opposite the Oak Inn
Meet Date : Thursday 19th Jan 2023
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm onwards
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, SRT kit if you want to fumble on the ropes.

I'll be there early to rig the SRT, I'll also rig the big pitch and worm hole if anyone would like to do those pitches

I will be there for 6.0 pm will be strimming garagh  boeth entrance of the grass first the 2 sessions will be mid rope rescue using the new gear and moving the caver along a traverse line both technics will be 6ft off the floor.mick
