Hi everyone
Over the last year a few mates and i have been gaining a fair bit of interest in exploring underground. We would like to gain more experience and learn more about these wonderful places. Couple of questions,
Is it possible we could join you on a trip?
How would we become members?

Hi there and welcome to the forum.  You'd be welcome on a trip any Thursday.  Just shout up when you're free.  Then if you decide to join, it's very straight forward.  But it's a good idea to come and meet us first to see if you can put up with us  :silly:

Ditto what Rob said, we are a friendly bunch (most of the time)

Keep an eye on the forum here .... this weeks trip is a digging trip to Doug's dig .... it could be a breakthrough (might have been saying that for years) ... if you want to go email me at secretary@ucet.org.uk and I will give you the meet details.

However, it isn't the best idea for a first trip. The dig is in water, you will be cold, very muddy, miserable and very pissed off. The other folk there will be "eccentric" and I cannot believe you will leave with a reasonable idea of "caving"

Next week's trip will be put up on the forum (probably) over the weekend.

We are thinking of Poachers tomorrow evening.  Only just talked about it. All are welcome. I don't have any spear helmets or torches to hand.

Hi Stones,

Well, unfortunately, we haven't heard ourselves ..... maybe something last minute but, at the moment we seems to be very dilatory :(
