UCET Ladies Trip Advisor - Monday 22nd September 2025

Belgrave Lead Mine

Our next ladies trip is to Belgrave Lead Mine, This is a mainly a walkabout trip with one lifeline descent to see some miners graffiti, and includes some low sections, small scrambles and exposed edges.

It is suitable for novices with an adventurous spirit.

Where: Llanferres
Parking: Pot hole Quarry Lay-by, https://maps.app.goo.gl/w5ujosQMStLy6oNw5
We will park here and then drive to the mine as there's only parking for a few cars.
Time:18:30
Equipment needed: Helmet, Lamp, gloves, Wellies, overalls/ caving suit, knee pads. Harness or belt for lifelining.
